I don't have it now--thank goodness I'm finally in remission. But I had it for the entire year postpartum following having Brandon, and then had a very severe case for about 1 1/2 years after having Ryland--I was actually hospitalized 6 hours a day for a month in January 2006 because my PPD had become so severe (it was coupled with PTSD as well so that probably added to it). So, I had PPD for about 3 years...

I am so sorry... sending . I am glad that youa re out of that dark cloud. I am beginning ot think that I am struggling with PPD symptoms. My son is 7 months old and I have had a dew days of hell. It seemed to pass and the :AF: appeared.. so maybe it was a bad case of PMS. But I am interested in other peoples experiences.

I've dealt with antenatal and postpartum depression off and on for about 5 years now. :sigh: I'm still being treated for it with Zoloft currently. I went off it for about a week and a half a few months ago because of a screw up with my doctor's office... it was hell.

I had a fairly mild (I think?) case after Darcy was born...mostly coupled with a lot of extreme paranoia and no sleep.

Mostly I'm concerned about after this baby, because I already see it coming...and hoping that knowing it's a possibility will help me avoid it or at least tame it a bit.
