But it ain't pretty yet by any stretch.

I was able to move the entire database over. Took literally 33 hours to get it done, but it's done.

From what I can tell, we lost about 8% of posts in the conversion. I'm going to try to retrieve those individually, but no guarantees. Given that we started out with like 480,000, I think 450,000 moving is pretty damn good! I do have copies of all of the originals, so they're not gone gone, they're just not here.

I'm going to work as much as I can on getting things prettied up. Any help you can give as far as things you see are wrong would be huge. Obviously, let's start with big stuff. And my time is going to be super limited in the next couple of weeks because of the move, but I'll do what I can!

Right now, user registrations are disabled. Until we have everything pounded out, I want to make sure that no one else is able to register/post. Hope I have it set right for that!

I don't believe the private settings are still working right now. However, there's no way for anyone other than paid members to see them, and no one new can pay right now until I'm happy with how things are running.

If you want, I can move it somewhere that no one but Amber & I can see, so no less private than it ever was!

No one can register right now...so no new spammers are registering. Anyone that's posting is what's already there, getting rid of them as they pop up. Kinda like weeds in the yard.

Permanently? No, we can't keep all spammers from ever posting...part of the nature of the beast of internet posting.

I'm honestly not working on the privacy setting right now, Andrea, so I don't want you to think I am. With us moving this week, the priority was getting the place up and running again...fancy stuff will have to wait. Honestly, it'll probably be after the 7/4 holiday before I can begin to think about fancy add-on's.

Sorry...but the 30+ hours to get the place back up used up all of my free time!

At this point, no one's even using the site. So I'm honestly going to bother busting myself to do the private journals unless I get some indication that the time/effort would be valuable.
